Spontaneity vs Order

Hey Brendan,
I have a question in the domain of effectiveness (skill).

How do you balance commitment/structure/order/habit VS spontaneity/intuition/opportunity/
adaptation to new circumstances?

For example, say you commit to something, and then some event has you reconsider that commitment.

Do you honor your word to a T, OR do you change course.

Thanks

    Michael,
Thanks for posting. Here is a video to answer what I now know is only part of your question. I will consider this question further and make some additional content. Also can you clarify what you are asking and why you are asking it?

Thanks. Video was helpful. Not sure what needs to be clarified.
My purpose for asking the question was to get a better understanding of how to practically apply your teachings.
I am interested in how your teachings show up in an actual living, breathing person, who exists in our imperfect and chaotic world, so to speak.
Your videos outline ideals, however reality is sometimes counterintuitive, confusing and "messy".

That's also why I asked you previously about the relationship between health and consciousness work.
In theory we can live by all these principles, develop our consciousness, and so forth, but once someone puts a gun to our face, metaphorically or literally, suddenly all those constructs fall apart. At the end of the day we are mortal humans.
So in essence, I am interested in a more realistic vision of how a person would live by your teachings.
