Keeping Your Word

Brendan,

Suppose somebody promised themselves that they would do something, only to realize later on that the thing they promised themselves that they would do is no longer healthy, would it be unjust if they were to disband this promise, even if it was followed up until that point, and they have a good history of keeping their word and this person still trusts themselves to follow through in the future? What is it about keeping one’s word that is so significant? Am I missing something? Thank you.

    Like I will point out in the video I am not too sure about what you mean by something being unjust. Probably one big thing you are missing is a good deal of practice and observation. Trying to grasp what integrity is and the consequences of keeping one's word vs breaking it etc.. I hope this helps some.
