The Role of a Teacher / Facilitator

Hi Brendan,

For a long time I’ve been intrigued by Peter’s work, and now maybe even more by yours (perhaps that is because Peter is, as I see it, slowly taking a step back, and you are bringing more freshness to the field.)

I’ve been working with people in terms of bringing them to greater Consciousness and Freedom as well.

Some people seem to be more open and responsive (or should I say responsible?), while others not so much. How does it look? Some actually listen to me, being willing to check with themselves what I am proposing or suggesting, others feel that they already “know” and simply try to use my teaching to reinforce their already held beliefs.

Of course, it would seem, that as a teacher my agenda should be to help everyone I meet. I find however, that taking this sort of position would require me to “become someone, who wants to help”. Of course, that does not work. Who is it that would want to help? Is it anything more than me believing in myself to be a teacher (or a facilitator as you would call it I guess) then? On the other hand, if I would completely let go of the matter, and say – “Whatever, people are in ignorance, or are being open, whatever whatever… that’s the reality, I won’t argue that.” – I again have to believe in the world being a “certain way” and in me being a “powerless someone”. Neither of these extremes is Accurate.

I was wondering how you deal with this dilemma (if you also come across it). I was wondering if you figured out the true way to move with this. I wanted to ask you for help.

Any insight would be much appreciated.

    Couple points I would like to respond to:

    The way I wrote to you, the language, the structure of the message, was a bit messy. I could have been clearer and more rigorous in what I mean. I recognize this and I've been working on improving my expression the last couple of weeks.

    You are saying, basically, that since I'm young I'm probably deluded in terms of Consciousness or some kind of other knowledge. Well, I will dare to say - you don't know that. Just as I don't know what YOU realize. Maybe the number which is our age doesn't say it all...

    Yes, I liked the video. I like the structured way you are putting your way forward. It makes it reliable. Good stuff!!!

    Thank you again. It's true that I want to help people, I think it's quite natural. Like you are saying, it probably doesn't help anyone if I make a big deal out of it. Aaand also, like you are saying, if this is an authentic inspiration that I have, I better go ahead and FIGURE IT OUT! :)
