Consciousness And How It Might Relate To Healing Anxiety

I was invited to take part in the Beat Your Anxiety Summit that was hosted by Lydia Kathryn. I talk on Consciousness and anxiety as well as the possibility of freedom from limitations. I was listed as one of over twenty-one experts that reveal how you can transform anxiety into confidence and eliminate your need to people please.

I state clearly in the interview I am not into healing people and don’t come from perspective where that is the focus. My goal is becoming conscious of what is true. However, it just might happen that becoming conscious of what is true might allow somebody to overcome many psychological “problems” and provide a platform that can allow the possibility to transform how they show up in the world.

A main component of anxiety is fear. Most people attribute their fear to an external source. If becoming conscious of the nature of fear is the goal then this is a mistake. After some consideration it is possible to discover a few things. One that fear has components, like the possibility of having a future. No future, no fear.

Another thing that people don’t tend to consider is that they have a self makeup that has been constructed around being anxious and fearful. Consciousness work moves us to reveal the often unrecognized aspects of mind that create the anxiety and even the psychology and perceptive experience that surround the condition in the first place. This can allow for the possibility of freedom and healing. It’s not the goal but perhaps a side effect.
